Review of 'No Damascus Road' from Oct 2002 issue of Cross Rhythms (5 track CD)

"Five songs by a folk-tinged songsmith recorded simply with just a picked or strummed acoustic guitar and a little bit of electric lead. Richard Craine's voice is strong and his songs have themes...........a pleasant listen"

Tony Cummings - Cross Rhythms magazine.

"Now here's a find Richard Craine is a singer-songwriter in the acoustic mould, the kind you'll see at open-mic nights across the land. Craine marks himself out by being rather good at it, coming across as a cross between James Taylor and William Hut. Just sitting back and listening to him though, is an easy pleasant experience; that, surely is what this kind of music is all about. This is a guy who deserves some exposure.
